A scheme to cover installation of renewable or green technologies. There has been rapid growth in the popularity and acceptance of renewable technologies as a way of offsetting high energy costs and ensuring stability of energy supplies. The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) was introduced to help ensure good quality products and installations. By setting robust standards the industry can continue to develop with confidence. Being a registered MCS installer enables customers to take advantage of current government incentives such the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Feed in Tariffs (FITs).
The renewable Energy Consumer code (RECC) was set up by the Renewable Energy Association. The aim is to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small-scale energy generation systems for their home.The RECC logo is a sign that the Alternative Heating Company  has agreed to abide by the high standards set our in their consumer code.
