BPEC HEAT PUMPS - Incorporating the installation of wet heating systems for ground, air and exhaust air heat pumps BPEC Vented - Unvented Hot Water Storage BPEC Solid Fuel Heating Systems BPEC Level A - Full Scope Electrical work within dwellings BPEC Level B & C Defined scope electrical assessment
A scheme to cover installation of renewable or green technologies. There has been rapid growth in the popularity and acceptance of renewable technologies as a way of offsetting high energy costs and ensuring stability of energy supplies. The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) was introduced to help ensure good quality products and installations. By setting robust standards the industry can continue to develop with confidence. Being a registered MCS installer enables customers to take advantage of current government incentives such the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Feed in Tariffs (FITs).
HIES accredited members are drawn from the ranks of the many thousands of installers who currently operate in the sector. They are from all parts of the UK including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Accredited Installers must satisfy HIES administrators of their high standards of quality, ethics, professionalism and ongoing customer satisfaction. Accredited Installers will have a proven track record within the industry, provide many customer references, subject themselves to ongoing vetting and provide guarantees to match the best in the industry.
